Sophie was honoured with the Worshipful Company Of Weaver’s Highly Commended 2023/24 award earlier this year, accompanied with a bursary to help aid her in her final year endeavours.

Paul Vogel X NTU Live Brief, 2023/24.
Sophie’s work was recognised in her engagement with an industry live brief published by Paul Vogel, where she secured third place and earned the opportunity to showcase her work at Premiere Vision as a result Sophie’s work was acquired by Gap LA, providing invaluable firsthand experience within the industry.

'Making It In Textiles' Conference, 2023.
Sophie had the remarkable opportunity to attend the 'Making It In Textiles' Bradford Conference late last year, where she gained invaluable firsthand knowledge of the industry and further cultivated her networking skills to support her journey in the design world.

ROMO X NTU, Live Brief, 2022.
During her second year at university, Sophie actively engaged in a live project brief initiated by Romo, a distinguished luxury interiors brand. Motivated by her aspiration to broaden her expertise in diverse design applications. This immersive experience not only fostered her collaborative skills within a team setting but also facilitated the exchange of innovative ideas. Moreover, Sophie benefitted from the invaluable feedback provided by a leading luxury interiors company, contributing to her development as a designer.
